»Be different in this world.

You are supposed to be different. Respect all human authority. Your honorable lives should silent those ignorant people. You have been chosen to be God’s instruments. This world isn’t your home don’t make a home in it. Make the master proud of you by being a good citizen, being a good daughter/son, mother/father, husband/wife. 

Treat everyone  you meet with dignity and respect. 

Don’t fit in with the rest of the culture. Be a side show. Be an oddity.

Be happy to put other people in the spot light. 

Colossians 3:1-4 “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthy things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

*whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus. Live a life of humility, take yourself out of the spotlight. Don’t worship at the alter of ego. Worship Jesus. Don’t worry about how people perceive you…instead think about how Jesus will perceive you. He’s the ultimate judge of not only your life on earth, but your eternal life. Which one matters more? 100 years on earth…or eternal life.
