Anonymous asked: What does it look like to fully trust God in times of intense struggle? When all aspects of your life and where God wants you are unanswered. Also, in your personal opinion, do you think depression is only a matter of a lack of trust in God or do you think it is possible that people would need professional help with their health?
There’s no exact model of what it looks like to trust God completely because trusting God looks different for every person.
In Isaiah 26:8 tells us that we show our trust in God by obeying His laws.
“Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.” Is. 26:8
God does not confine to human time, He promises to always give us an answer but it just might not be when we want it or think we need it. Sometimes His answer is us patiently waiting, or having faith that He is in control.
About depression, I have struggled and still struggle with depression because of the medical condition I have. A lot of depression can go along with trusting in God and relying on Him, however, from the medical aspect and learning about how hormones and chemicals affect our mood and outlook on life; some antidepressants can help balance those out. I also believe that professional help, such as counseling, is very helpful as well.
However, whatever someone chooses to help depression, I fully believe that God gives us trials He knows we can endure. He uses them to strengthen us, to help shape and mold us. When we trust in Him through those trials, through those depressing thoughts, He will bless us.
Romans 5:3-5
James 1:2-4
Hope this helps and answers your questions!
God bless :)
Anonymous asked: I don't know if you're still doing this blog, I certainly hope so, but... I'm really depressed about something that really isn't even a big deal, but I'm REALLY depressed about it. I can't really enjoy anything until this is taken care of. But, God's not helping me. There are times when I'll get a little better, but, then it comes right back. God said he'd help me, but I pray and pray, and I feel like he's not even listening. It scares me. Because I don't want to feel like this anymore.
You have to trust in Him. Trust in His plan. Trust that whatever you are struggling with, it’s happening for a reason. Maybe God needs to use this certain trial to mold you or change your heart. But I do know that God is faithful. Always. So although it might not feel like it at the moment, have faith in Him. Don’t let Satan tell you those lies that God isn’t helping you, because God is always there for you. God loves you so much, He’s always listening. You just have to trust in His plan, trust in His purpose. You might not like what you’re going through, but look what Jesus went through. He died an awful death for us. Because He trusted in His father. He defeated the grave. God loves you, He did all of that for you. Keep turning your eyes upon Him. Keep praying. It will get better, when you trust that whatever is happening is happening for a purpose. Have faith and trust in your Creator who loves you unconditionally.

Anonymous asked: Hi so I read that devotional about you are what you think and it honestly scares me, maybe I'm misunderstanding it but when I read that I am what I think I got very scared. Because I haven't been having very good thoughts lately, they're not even thoughts that I want and thoughts that I have never had but for the last couple months so many thoughts have been bombarding my head, good and bad ones to the point that I break down. And idk when I read that I feel like I'm a bad person :(
Hi sweets,
The point of that devotional isn’t to make you feel like a bad person, it’s to uplift you! You can control you thoughts to an extent. However, Satan can put thoughts into our minds. Whether bad thoughts about ourselves or others. But that’s when you need to cling to God, and pray that He will fight for you. That He will be who you look to when Satan is attempting to put those bad thoughts in your mind. A good book to read to understand how Satan works in our minds is Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer, it’s pretty deep but it explains this in a much better way. But dear, don’t think you’re a bad person because you aren’t. God loves you. Thinking positive thoughts is something that requires discipline. If you want to get rid of those scary thoughts that you’ve had the last few months though, I encourage you to seek God. Pray. Ask Him to push those hurtful thoughts away so you can focus on the good things. Let God give you His eyes. His eyes that are so loving, and see past Satan’s lies. Because that’s all Satan puts in our minds, lies. Don’t believe them and don’t let him control you. Let God uplift you, and seek His love and goodness, instead of Satan’s deceitful ways and destruction.
I am praying for you!!

Over Mark 2:1-12
Jesus is our highest priest, someone who builds a bridge to God.
He came to connect us to the Father.
While in Capernaum, Jesus was performing miracles. The people were drawn to him because of these miracles he was performing. If some guy was performing miracles right in front of your eyes, wouldn’t you want to go see? I know I would. People would be crowding around, coming from all over. Just as it was in Mark 2.
Verse 5 shows a shift, in the men’s emotions who brought the paralytic through the roof and also the paralytic most likely. He didn’t want their sins to be forgiven, he wanted to be healed!
For most of us, the majority of our conversations with God are about what we need, instead of confessing our sin.
It’s easy to say your sins are forgive because how do you know if they are or not? You don’t know, on the other hand, physical healing is something you know immediately.
Jesus set this up, in the passage. If he can tell someone to take up their mat and walk then he can tell them their sins are forgiven. Because he has the power to forgive sins, and in the long run that is what these people needed, they needed Jesus. However, they didn’t trust that He was the Son of God.
Which is why this passage shows so much importance.
If Jesus heals someone and he can prove it, then maybe they should pay attention to the rest of the stuff he says. Jesus is trying to connect people back to God. They needed to know about God and His love. Jesus came to this world to connect us back to the Father. He’s the only priest we will ever need.
Jesus sets them up. He wants them to know he has the authority to forgive sins. Which is why he said that before he healed him.
After Jesus healed the man, no one praised him because he washed the man of his sin, they only praised him for the physical healing.. which was temporary.
We know what’s important now, Jesus knows what was important. That is what He wants us to learn. Don’t miss the importance of Him. Yes he performed miracles, but physical only happens on earth. When he heals us of our sins, that is eternal. Jesus wanted the man to realize that, he fixed the man’s temporary problem, but he cured his permanent problem.
Miracles: If we believe in what God can do for us, then our faith becomes based on what God can do for you. But that’s just a temporary fix. We’re happy with him when we are happy. But when we’re angry we aren’t. If we aren’t careful we get into this Christian idea of “karma” but that’s not what it is about. If that is the case, then your faith will become shattered when anything bad happens.
That is a danger thing called religion, a system.
That’s not what our faith should be about.
You might not believe in God for that exact reason, “I needed God to show up when (something bad happened)”
So what happens when your prayers aren’t answered, where does your faith go?
If your faith is based on what Jesus did or did not do, then your faith isn’t there.
This is what our faith should be based on:
Not just the death, but the resurrection. Jesus’s death didn’t stop there, when Jesus rose again he conquered sin, death and the grace once and for all. Let your faith be based on that. Not just because Jesus died for us but the fact that he conquered sin and death. Victoriously he rose. And he said he would do that. Just like he said he would heal this man and his sins were forgiven.
Jesus came back. Because of His resurrection, we can become confident in our faith.
Confident that Jesus is who he says he is, and that Jesus will do what he says he will do. Faith is confidence in Jesus. He never promised us that the more faith we have the easier it will be. But he says that in this world we will have trouble, he doesn’t stop there, he tells us to take heart because he has overcome the world!
If we ever try to lean our faith on anything other than Jesus and what He did than our faith will fall apart. Don’t let your faith depend on what God does for us, but what He’s already done for us.
Romans 5:8
No matter what happens to you in this life, you can remember this..God loves you. If you trust him your sins are forgiven. No matter what happens, believe that God loves you and your sins are forgiven.
Hebrews 4:14: Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
When the hard times come, where is your faith rooted?

Anonymous asked: Hey there... I know you got better things to do but i just wanted to tell to someone that when i pray, or send good vibes, or call it whatsoever,i feel no one ever hears. So i was wondering if you could be praying for me, just a bit. Thanks a lot.
Hi there:) I will be praying for you. If you believe in God, know that He hears your prayers. He doesn’t always change the situation as we desire, but instead changes the person. Pray for His will to be done, because His will for you is greater than you can imagine. Trust that He is listening to everything you say!! I’m praying for you though! God bless:)
Anonymous asked: Hi! :) Uhm.. I just need to hear from you. I don't have any Christian friends, so I would be thrilled if you could answer me <3 My ex has a new girlfriend. We were together for almost 6 years. And it's been 2 years since we broke up, and finally I'm starting to move forward, but every time I just picture them together I feel like I can't take it. He was the love of my life. Could you please pray for my healing? Thank you.. God bless you and your blog, it's so full of life. Thank you. Love<3
Hi dear, I’m so sorry to hear that. That must be so hard. I will be praying for you, for God to heal your broken heart, and to mend yourself with Him instead of thinking about this man. I will pray that you can focus on your relationship with the Lord during this rough time in your life. Whatever God’s will is, let it be. Keep praying as well, He does answer your prayers. And He will heal your heart, it might take time, but trust that He can do anything. Build your relationship with Him, this might be what He wants you to focus on in your time of need. Go to Him with your sadness, so He can heal your beautiful heart. I will be praying, but stay strong. You can get through this!! Thank you for the kind words, it’s all for His glory! God bless <3
Anonymous asked: hi! i love your blog, it's so inspirational! I was just wondering if you knew any bible quotes about trusting God's plan for the future and just what the future holds. I was also wondering if you knew any good bible quotes about family and friends?
Hi there! Thank you :)
Here are a few that sit close to my heart.
Trusting in God’s plan
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you -Matthew 6:33
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them -Ephesians 2:10
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” -Jeremiah 1:5
Friends & Family
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone -Romans 12:18
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another. -John 15:12-17
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. -Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Friends love through all kinds of weather,
and families stick together in all kinds of trouble. -Proverbs 17:17 (MSG)
I hope these helped! God bless!
Anonymous asked: My boyfriend and i just broke up. The moment I walked away from him I felt so alone and empty. He still wants to take me to prom but everything is different between us now. My mom doesn't have enough money to pay the water bill or buy food so she went to a ministry thing that helps people and they gave us some stale food. I should be thankful for that but it's so hard. Our water is off and she's trying to find people that can pay the bill for us but everywhere has been a dead end. Where is God?
He’s there. Do you go to church? Those people will help you find resources. God works through the church. That is one of the best places you will find to help with your financial situation. Another thing you could do, are you old enough to get a job? Just an after school job or something that will help your mother out? It’s very common for a teenager to get a job when they’re old enough to help their parents out. So don’t feel like that’d be weird or it would single you out. I got a job when I turned 16.
But sweetie, I wish I could help. And I know this must seem impossible, but I’m going to tell you anyway because it’s the truth. He will provide! Just keep your faith in Him. You have to trust that everything will be okay.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths -Proverbs 3:5-6
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future -Jeremiah 29:11
Just keep your faith. Know that He will help you. Seek help from people whom He uses, people within the church.
We’re all praying for you! I’m always here for you too.

Anonymous asked: I’ll be honest, my desire to fall in love has increased significantly over the past few weeks. It seems like everyone else has a boyfriend right now, except me. In fact, I was literally fanning myself in church last week because of a certain guitar player, who barely knows my name. But, I’m just trying to keep telling myself that I don’t need a guy. Because God is more than enough for me. Any advice?
I mean you know that God is enough, which is the most important thing. Because He is. Once you realize that, your desire to search for a boyfriend decreases because God’s love will fill your heart and you’ll trust that He will bring the guy for you at the right time. You can’t make yourself fall in love, and you don’t expect it to happen by any means. Which is one of the most exciting parts about falling in love. It might only seem like everyone else has a boyfriend right now because you’re focusing on that, turn your focus away from that desire and put it towards God. When we are faithful to Him, He gives us the desires of our hearts.
So who knows what He has in store for you! Just turn your focus to Him, pray about it, and let Him guide your life :) God bless!
Anonymous asked: Could I have some prayer that I'd be able to beat legalism and trust God more? I believe in His grace but I get so guilty about silly things. Sometimes I can't see my real sins because I'm too focused on stuff like how long my prayers are and I feel like everything I do is so selfish. Thanks, God bless. :)
Yes I’ll pray for you.
Just ask God to help change your heart about those things.
Just think about praying to God, like you’re talking to your best friend…who’s also a King :) Be humbled by Him.
He wants to know what’s on your heart. He wants to know that you’re grateful for everything He’s done for you. And He wants to be your best friend, your confidant, your Heavenly Father, He wants to be your everything. So if your prayers are long in that aspect, that’s good! But ask for discernment as well, to understand your sin, and to be focused on how to let Him love through you and how you can be more like Him.
Hope this helped a bit,
we will be praying!!
God bless!
Anonymous asked: Hi, I am currently waiting to hear back from law schools and I know its sinful to be anxious but now and then I worry that I won't get into the law school I want or God doesn't have plans for me. Could you please pray that I will be faithful and trust in God and that He will provide and deliver always? Thanks so much you're so wonderful! <3
Yes I will definitely be praying for you. We all get anxious and worried at times, but when you do just remember to trust in the Lord. Be patient.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer -Romans 12:12
Keep praying, and if it doesn’t work out the way you want it know…know that it worked out the way God wanted it to.
Make the best of whatever happens, all for His glory!
God bless!
Anonymous asked: I need some advice or something. I know that Jesus is Lord. I have confessed it with my lips and believed it in my heart. I've been baptized. He's changed my life in so many ways. It's amazing. But for some reason I'm having trouble believing that I am saved and that His grace is sufficient for me. I know that works wont save me. I know that nothing can save me but Jesus, and somehow I still can't believe that He has saved me. I just want to believe that His grace is enough.
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. (Acts 20:24 NLT)
You just need to have trust in Him. Have trust that everything you’ve leaned about Him is true, about His grace being sufficient and plentiful, and that His love for you outweighs your sins. If you choose to live your life for His glory, then don’t let Satan bring you down. He knows your weaknesses, but he can only use them against you if you let him. Let God take over and shine His love through you. You’re worthy, and loved by our Almighty God. That alone should be enough reassurance to go and tell the whole world how Jesus saves, and has saved you. Push your human desires aside, and let Gods love fill your heart. God bless!
Anonymous asked: I was the youth pastor and I recently left my church due to a lot of drama and I didnt feel like my pastor was my shepard. I felt like God called me out of there but no one supports my decision. People have said they dont believe it was God who called me out.. Even my parents don't agree. Now im looking for a new church and it's hard. I feel so numb.. I just want to feel God again..
No matter what happened, God is always there. You just have to push aside your feelings of unworthiness, and let Him move through you. I can’t tell you if God was the one who called you out of the church, but if you honestly feel it was Him, then it was. Other people shouldn’t judge you or make accusations on a situation like this. There’s a reason this happened, and just be patient to find out what it is. God’s waiting for you to come running to Him though. If you need to find a new church, then that’s what you’ll do. Don’t let their opinions get to you. Go out and show His love to your parents, and even to the people who say they don’t believe that God called you out. I wish I could tell you the answer, but only God knows. I can tell you though that whatever situation He put you in or even if you put yourself in this situation, turn to Him and use it to glorify Him. Show your character through this, to those people who don’t believe you. God’s got this <3 I’ll be praying for you!!
